It had a room available for Dads weekend at a reasonable price compared to other hotels.
There was no hot water in the shower Sunday morning. This is not acceptable.
it smelled like cig. smoke inside the hotel. there were parties in the hotel all night. i will never stay in that hotel again i was very dissappointed!!!!
Rooms not booked - no smoking rooms - asked for toilet paper was declined (had 6 people-ASKED for 4 to replace 2 used after 1 day) dark room w/o adequate heat or ventilation.... Left bathroom window open w/ front to get air.
Absolutely nothing about that hotel was appealing. its a place to take hookers! It was filthy to say the least. bag in ice bucket had not been changed. floor in bathroom had pubic hair towards the back of toilet. one blanket for the bed provided, a double sized for a queen bed. heat did not work correctlyl. Horrific to say the least.
ditto on above
Conveniant to what we were doing and very clean.
The hotel was poorly decorated and the pillows were very uncomfortable but the front desk staff were friendly and the room was clean. The water pressure was good and we had no complaints about any noise. It was not a luxury hotel but for the price and location it was worth staying there for the night.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Decent coffee, bagels, cereal, and muffins complimentary in the morning, plenty of parking right in front of the hotel, great location in Athens, OH only a short 5-7 minute drive to OU. The rooms were very nice especially for the price of the stay, it was all around a great value. Highly recommended.
My husband did note that the bathroom was a little small and the shower head fixed too low for his height in the tub surround. I did not have a problem with this, although I am much shorter/more petite than he. It was a busy weekend, and we could hear all sorts of noise coming from the room above us, sounded like kids running and jumping around. The noise did stop sometime before we went to sleep, so we were not disturbed in the middle of the night.
Thank you for working with me and allowing my daughters little dog to stay. Sorry for the confusion!
The beds arent soft. We had a few ants around the hairdryer plug.
It suited our purposes. for one night it was fine quiet for outside noise inside heater loud. Staff was very nice.breakfast was fine for very continental.
room keep clean mostly, comfort of bed king size
Faclities are old but clean. Good room heater.
Not a very nice room but I guess you get what you pay for.
I arrived at 4:40pm and was told I need to wait 30min for my room to be clean. Check-in is 3pm. They lost the reservations from my friends who stayed in the room next to us. We saw bugs in the rooms.
I like motels of this type, am always on a budget, and for the money, the Knights Inn of Athens was wonderful. The room was clean and big, the king sized bed was really big, lots of towels in the bathroom. The front desk woman was polite and helpful, especially when our card key was giving us trouble , she just gave us new ones and the breakfast room was cheeful and the selections of bagels and what not were fresh, coffee delicious. Jfk stayed there in 1959 when he was a senator!
The location is very nice because it was on the way that I planed and not so noisy though it was just next to the road.
